“My passion for Aikido has evolved over the years into a way of looking at health, wellness, and the challenges of daily life. The lessons I have learned in the dojo have gradually become a way to manage the stresses of the world with a clear mind, calm spirit, and a desire to constantly improve myself and my abilities in all areas of my life.”

Eric Yanofsky

Eric Yanofsky, an instructor at North Shore Aikido has been practicing Aikido since 2005.  He holds the rank of Shodan from 6th Dan, Bernard Mulligan, Shihan.

“What first attracted me to Aikido was its flexibility.  The combination of throws, locks, and deflections seemed very unique.  Early on, I immediately discovered how energized I feel when I practice, and how much the classes act as a release of stress.  As you progress, you constantly strive to explore the depth of this art.”
